It wouldn’t be a perfect day without doing some rollerblading. My favourite destination is the Hamilton Beach Trail (a section of the Waterfront Trail). I start at the lift bridge, go past Hutches, Baranga’s & Confederation Park to the loop just shy of Grays Rd and back again. The round trip is about 14km… it sure beats going to the gym!
After blading I usually take a short walk just to stretch my legs. Today I met a friendly trail user who taught me the finer points of skateboarding… wobble, wobble… it was a lot of fun but I think I’ll stick to blading for now.
